The Chapel of the Angels marks the end of the Gothic campaign of reconstruction in Saint-Martin’s church and still displays beautiful medieval ornaments..

Nowadays, the chapel puts forward the funerary role of Saint-Martin’s Church during the Middle-Ages. During recent excavations, archaeologists from the Department discovered many tombs, of two main different kinds which are presented here – a limestone sarcophagus and a slate coffin with an epitaph.
